Welcome to our weird little world

Welcome to Misfit Floofs Collective. We take the tiny ones, the medically complicated, the rough‑first‑day‑at‑life crowd – and get them ready for home. If you keep falling for weird little lives on the internet, you’re in the right place with a scrappy crew of rescue nerds and folks who know way too much about neonate critter care.

Our World

What We Do

We’re a loose crew of regular people with jobs and lives who happen to share our spaces with a rotating cast of misfit floofs. From the street, our houses look normal. Inside, you can curl up with floofs, grab puppy formula from the fridge, and dig for the remote somewhere between the incubators on the coffee table and the heating pads on the couch. Call in sick to work and you can spend the day in the guest room with quarantined floofs who think you’re the best thing that ever happened.

Our mission: support our local humane societies and animal rescues – because no one saves them alone.

The Process

How It Works

01

Rescue

Local shelters call us to help the ones who won’t make it in kennels: bottle babies, medical messes, and the too-small-for-the-main-floor crowd.

02

Rehab

Some need meds and 3am feeds. Spicy kittens get to learn humans aren’t scary. Dogs who’ve never "dogged" before figure out doors, leashes, and grass without having a full meltdown.

03

Rehome

They leave the shelter too tiny, too fragile, or too scared. They go back giving kisses and clambering for your undivided attention – but they don’t sit on the adoption floor for long!

Foster Spotlights

Not just kittens – all kinds of floofs

Cats, dogs, puppies, and every scruffy critter in between. Here are a few who came through our foster program.

Sia & Grey Man

Sia & Grey Man

Sia is our resident foster supervisor. When a tiny grey kitten showed up needing round-the-clock warmth, Sia volunteered as personal heated bed. The kitten outgrew the need. Sia did not get the memo.

Rico

Rico

80 pounds of puppy who’d never walked on grass. We carried him from the couch to the yard. He finally agreed to a walk, stepped in a puddle, decided that was enough personal growth for one day, and sat down. We carried him home.

Bear

Bear

Found as a tiny pup, Bear treated the foster program like a sleep study. Ate, napped, grew, repeated. He’s now a healthy, fully operational floof whose main talent is taking up the entire couch.

Support the Collective

Keep the heating pads on

Formula, meds, vet bills, heating pads – it adds up fast. Help us keep the heating pads on for the next misfit who lands here.

Shop Active Auctions

We run auctions to fund rescue operations. Bid on something cool, help a floof. Everybody wins.

Foster

Got a spare room, closet, or bathroom? We provide supplies, vet care, and backup. You provide the late nights and the willingness to let them go when it's time.

Send Supplies

Our Amazon and Chewy wish lists are always open. Formula, heating pads, litter — the unglamorous stuff that keeps tiny creatures alive.

Share Our Stuff

A shared post is how most of our fosters found us. It costs nothing and it works. Tell your friends about the weird cat people.
